The embed works with any website that allows custom HTML, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and custom-built sites.
How quickly will I receive my API key?
Your API key and embed builder link will be emailed to you shortly after payment, usually within a few hours. If you haven't received your API key within 24 hours, please contact us.
How do I update my feed settings after I've added it to my site?
Simply visit your embed builder link (sent in your welcome email), adjust your settings (postcode, radius, distances, styling), click "Generate Embed Code", and replace the old code on your website with the new one. Your API key stays the same - only the settings in the URL change.
Can I change my location or filters after setup?
Yes, you can adjust your postcode, radius, distance filters, and styling anytime using the embed builder. Just generate new code and replace the old one on your site.
What happens if I cancel?
Your feed will stop working at the end of your billing period. You can resubscribe anytime to reactivate it.
Can I use the feed on multiple websites?
Each subscription covers one domain. Contact us if you need feeds for multiple websites - we offer multi-site discounts.
What if the feed stops working or shows an error?
If your feed shows an error, first check your subscription is active. If the issue persists, it may be a temporary Race Calendar server issue - we monitor uptime and aim to resolve any outages quickly. Contact us if the problem continues.
I need help adding the embed code to my website. Can you help?
Yes! We offer a one-off integration service for £40. We'll add the feed to your website for you and make sure it's working perfectly. Just contact us to arrange.
How many events will be shown?
You can configure how many events to display (up to 100) in the embed builder. Events are shown in date order, filtered by your chosen location and distances.
Are the events kept up to date automatically?
Yes. Events are pulled live from our database of 2,200+ UK running events. New events appear automatically and past events are removed - no maintenance required on your end.
